Katy Perry made a range of shoe statements in her fall 2023 campaign for Katy Perry Collections, which is packed with nostalgia from the ’60s to the early 2000s.
“For this line, I was thinking ‘pixie disco space cowgirl’ with the staple characteristics of the Katy Perry Collections brand, which is bold prints, fun textures, and always a conversation starter,” the FN cover star said in a brand statement.
One of the key images from Perry’s new campaign finds the musician posing atop a hay bale in an open field, shot by photographer Greg Swales in a set of her label’s Western boots. The $159 Zaina style in the photos features metallic silver uppers with swirling embroidery, complete with silver metal-plated toes and 3.3-inch block heels. Perry’s longtime stylist Tatiana Waterford elevated the shiny set with a brown cow-printed crop top and matching miniskirt, leaning into an Americana theme.
Another shot features Perry sitting inside of a slide above a ball pit, with her $98 Zaharrah mules front and center. The slip-on style featured a square-toed silhouette with black and white zebra stripe-printed uppers, complete with 2.1-inch heels for a subtle height boost. The style added a retro twist to a second outfit styled by Waterford: a zebra-printed shirt and denim maxi skirt, which instantly channeled the nonchalance of the ’90s.
Rounding out the range was a shot where Perry lounged before a fountain in a well-manicured garden, sparkling in a pair of her label’s $189 Zaharrah boots. The knee-high style featured shiny curved silver 2.1-inch heels, bringing a boost to its tall shafts — which were coated in miniature silver crystals for a burst of sparkle. The style also added a dash of glamour to her ’70s attire: a watercolor swirl-printed dress in hues of light blue, green and red.
For a preview of winter holidays, the campaign also included a shot of Perry against draped green curtains, wearing a red and white striped pair of pumps. The pointed-toe style featured cylindrical heels, which — along with their two-toned print — instantly channeled inspiration from the season’s signature peppermint candies.
Perry’s fall 2023 collection includes a range of boots, mules, pumps and more, cast in textures ranging from glittering crystals to reptilian embossments. The line, which retails from $59 to $189, is now available on Katy Perry Collections’ website.
